Damiana is used for strengthening the nervous and hormonal systems and is used by some as a general tonic for the reproductive system. It may be used as a anti-depressant in cases of anxiety and depression where there is a sexual factor. Some claim that drunk as a tea it has a relaxing effect not-unlike low doses of cannabis. It also has an ancient reputation as an aphrodisiac.

As a dietary supplement, 1-2ml (approx. 28-56 drops), 3 times a day.
