Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) is a natural relaxant that helps soothe the nerves insomnia and helps in anxiety, skin irritations, arthritis, menstrual cramps, gastrointestinal upset, flatulence, colic, nervous diarrhea, bedwetting caused by bladder irritation, fevers, colds and flu. Chamomile flowers have a relaxing effect on the digestive tract.
Chamomile was introduced to treat a wide variety of skin disorders such as eczema, bedsores, post radiation therapy skin inflammation, and contact dermatitis.
Chamomile has been used for the treatment of pain and inflammation in the intestines and stomach, as well as inhaling Chamomile vapor for asthma and other lung problems. Chamomile tea is widely used for mild tension and stress.
Early Egyptian physicians used the tea for fevers. Ancient Greeks, Romans, and Indians used Chamomile to treat disorders of the kidneys, liver, and bladder, and headaches.
Recommended Use:
2-4 ml (approximately 56-112 drops) 3 times a day.
